Who we are

IDMe is a digital identity wallet that helps people securely prove who they are online. Once verified, they can reuse their trusted identity across participating government agencies, healthcare organizations, financial services, employment opportunities, shopping sites, and other online experiences.

We build at the intersection of security, access, privacy, and user experience. Our mission is to make the world a more trusted place by delivering the highest level of security with the least amount of friction at the lowest possible cost.

Why the work matters

Digital identity affects how people access the services, benefits, and experiences they rely on online. When identity works well, access becomes faster and more secure, organizations can trust the people they serve, and fraud becomes harder to commit.

What it's like to work here

At IDMe, the systems we build have to stop fraud without blocking the people they are meant to serve, and they have to work for millions of users every day.
We move quickly, keep improving how we work, and solve complex identity challenges as a team. You can expect clear expectations, direct feedback, and teammates who push the work forward together.

Who thrives here

People who do well at IDMe take ownership, ask thoughtful questions, and follow through. They use sound judgment, learn quickly, and keep raising the bar for themselves and their teams.
We value initiative and agency. People thrive here when they are comfortable making informed decisions, moving with purpose, and operating when every next step is not fully defined.

Stay safe during your job search

Scammers sometimes pose as recruiters. Identity fraud is the problem we work on, so we take this seriously.
IDMe recruiters only email from @id.me email addresses. We never ask for payment or gift cards, and we never ask for bank details before you've accepted an offer or over text or chat apps. Apply only at id.me/careers. If something seems off, email recruiting@id.me.

Frequently asked questions

Are IDMe roles remote?

No. All roles are onsite because we believe in working closely together in person. The exception is Sales, where team members work in their territories meeting with customers.

Can I request an accommodation?

Yes. Email recruiting@id.me at any point in the process.

How does IDMe handle my application data?

Can I use AI during the hiring process?

Yes, with limits. We use AI every day, but interviews are how we get to know your thinking, experience, and voice.

  • You can: Use AI to proofread your writing, refine your resume, and practice for interviews.
  • Please don't: Use AI to write full answers to case studies or assignments, present AI-generated work as your own, or generate answers during a live interview.
  • Tell us: If AI helped with any part of your application, mention it in your application or to your recruiter. It will not count against you. Some technical assessments are designed to include AI. Your recruiter will tell you when that applies. Using AI outside these guidelines may remove you from the hiring process.
